Love is a beautiful thing and it’s something that almost every human being desires. The downside to love is that it can cause great pain if you lose it for example by death or much more common, you get dumped. It was only a few years ago that I was very close to losing my girlfriend who is now my wife. I had a fall out with her parents and it caused a massive strain on our relationship. I knew that in the current situation the relationship was going no where so I took action and made peace with her parents. I had to apologize for some of my previous actions and while at the time it was an awkward thing to do it was a very good decision.
From then on me and my girlfriend became stronger and she is now my wife. Keeping my head in the sand and not apologizing to her parents was the easy option but I realized things would never be good between myself and my partner if I didn’t.
